Cancellation and Booking Deposit Policy
Effective for all standard appointments at Quay Dental
At Quay Dental, we understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, and appointments may occasionally need to be rescheduled or cancelled. To ensure fair access to care for all patients and to respect the time and resources of our clinicians, we have the following policy in place.
Cancellation Policy
We kindly ask all patients to provide a minimum of 48 hours’ notice if they wish to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
- Late cancellations (less than 48 hours’ notice) or non-attendance without notice will result in a cancellation fee of €50 per 30 minutes of chair time.
- This applies to all appointments, including complimentary bookings such as reviews or consultations.
- The cancellation fee must be paid before any future appointments can be scheduled.
- Emergency situations will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
- Patients who cancel or fail to attend three or more times, may be required to pay a deposit to book an appointment or refused future bookings at the practice.
Booking Deposit Policy
To secure treatment appointments, a booking deposit is required. This deposit will either go toward your treatment on the day or be held on your account for future appointments.
- Standard Deposit: €50 per 30 minutes of booked chair time.
- Deposits are fully refundable if the appointment is cancelled or rescheduled with at least 48 hours’ notice and non-refundable if less than 48 hours’ notice is given.
- Sedation appointments are subject to a separate cancellation and deposit policy. Please ask for more details at the desk before booking a sedation treatment.
How We Communicate Our Policy
- Our cancellation and deposit policy is explained at the time of booking.
- Appointment reminders are sent as a courtesy via text message, email, or phone call in advance of your visit.
- To cancel or reschedule, please contact us as soon as possible via phone, email, or text.
By attending our clinic and booking an appointment, you agree to comply with this policy.
